A principle of “light-induced acceleration” of molecular recognition using the synergistic effect of light-induced force and hydrodynamic interaction in a liquid containing probe particles with a molecular recognition mechanism has been proposed. We are utilizing the principle of light-induced acceleration for the development of a “Hetero-Probe Method” that enables rapid and highly sensitive DNA detection. In the presentation, we demonstrate the possibility of the hetero probe method for DNA quantitative detection by showing a calibration curve with high linearity, and further report the results of successful highly sensitive detection comparable to existing digital PCR by light irradiation for only 3 minutes.
