We have studied charge collection and recombination dynamics in all-polymer blend solar cells based on crystalline conjugated donor polymers with different side chains comprehensively in order to address the origin of different dependence of fill factor on thickness of the active layer. As a result, we found that high charge mobility is essentially required to obtain high fill factors even for thick active layers in addition to reduced bimolecular recombination.
