機械学習・量子アニーリングなどは，内部の物理・化学プロセスに関しては情報を与えないブラックボックスアプローチである．従来の物理・化学プロセスを記述する微分方程式群による，モデリング・シミュレーション・解析などは，ホワイトボックスアプローチである．両者にはそれぞれ長短所がある．ここでは，この２つの方法を混在させたグレイボックスアプローチの活用を推奨したい．
