水上での大気圧パルス放電の発生に伴って、気相のプラズマと液体の相互作用の解明について説明する。比色分析による放電照射水のpHおよびH₂O₂濃度測定と電気化学計算によるH₂O₂濃度の極性効果の解明、放電照射時の水温変化の位置分解測定、PIV (Particle Image Velocimetry : 粒子画像流速計測法) による放電照射時の水中の流動測定の結果を紹介し、気相・液相に生成される代表的な種と生成の過程について述べる
