Plasma ion irradiation providing functions to materials is an attractive method doping different atoms and molecules in a specific local region. However, it is often difficult to introduce these atoms and molecules into the target local region with the optimal chemical state, by the interaction with the original atoms of the materials and/or defect formation during plasma ion irradiation. In this study, we introduce multiple analyses for designing photocatalytic reaction systems driven by plasma ion irradiation.
