Although a wide range of applications using the quantum nature of light are attracting attention, their realization requires verification of their fundamental properties under real-world conditions. So far, we have conducted experiments on fiber network transmission of propagated single photons and developed light source and detection techniques for quantum optical experiments using optical frequency combs. In this study, we report a basic investigation for remote sensing experiments using nonlocal correlation of frequency quantum entangled photons, with a view toward practical quantum fiber network applications.
