[16p-B410-4] Crystal Structure Determination of New Eu-doped Oxide Phosphor

In order to search for new phosphors, we carried out the synthesis of phosphors by a melting method using a special designed furnace. In this study, we found a new phosphor, Ba₂Sr₂P₂O₉:Eu²⁺. This phosphor showed yellow luminescence under near-ultraviolet irradiation, which was different from that of a previously reported red phosphor, Sr₄P₂O₉:Eu²⁺.
