A phononic crystal cavity sustains multiple acoustic resonances with various vibrational strain distributions. In this presentation, we investigated the effect of the strain profiles on magnetoelastic effect governing interaction between ferromagnetic magnons and acoustic phonons. We found that longitudinal- and shear-strain dominant cavity resonances show different magnetic susceptibility to the magnetoelastic effect.
