▼ [16p-D419-9] Microwave spectroscopy for field dispersions in MnCO3
Keywords:spintronics, nuclear spintronics, microwave spectroscopy
Antiferromagnetic electron and nuclear spins are expected to expand the realm of spintronics due to their small stray field, wide dynamic frequency range, and small damping. We report direct observations of magnetic field dispersions in MnCO3, a canted antiferromagnetic insulator with a large hyperfine interaction. The observed field dispersions clearly exhibit the field-dependent electron-nuclear spin hybridization in MnCO3. The hybridized nuclear spin branch enters a nonlinear regime at large microwave powers, consistent with the formation of nuclear spin waves due to the Suhl-Nakamura interaction. This method provides a convenient way to explore potential materials for antiferromagnetic and nuclear spintronics.
