Toner-type printing is a printing method in which toner particles are manipulated by electrical force to draw patterns. We have succeeded in fine patterning of electronic materials such as metals, semiconductors, and insulators, but the process of sintering them into thin films is necessary for the practical application of printed electronics. In this study, we report the results of light sintering of various toners using CO2 gas laser and visible xenon flash lamps.
