[16p-PB03-17] Cell Adhesion Measurement Using Microfluidics and Adhesion Control by Surface
Microstructure
Keywords:microfluidic channel, cell adhesion, microstructure
There are many diseases related to cell adhesion, such as cancer metastasis and rheumatoid arthritis. For the development of new drugs and new therapies for these diseases, the in vitro environment close to that in the living body is thought to be useful. Considering the application in medical treatment and drug discovery, a simple and quantitative method for measuring the adhesive force is required. Therefore, we focused on the cell adhesion force measurement using a microchannel, and worked on the manufacture of a device that can evaluate the cell adhesion force in a microchannel by generating shear stress inside.
