[16p-PB03-6] Single Cell Stimulation using Laminar-Flow Confinement System
Keywords:Laminar-Flow, Cell operation, Cell differentiation
Cells are the smallest units of life, and information transfer between cells enables the expression of biological functions and the maintenance of life. Therefore, clarifying the details of signal transduction between a single cell and surrounding cells will lead to the elucidation of cellular functions and the mechanisms of life. In this study, we constructed a laminar flow control system using four capillaries, which enabled us to flow the neuronal growth factor (NGF) solution in limited area near cells. Using this system, we attempted to apply stimulation to a single cell by NGF.
