[17a-B309-4] Mechanism of Edge Termination in CVD Growth of hBN/Graphene Heterostructure

We have experimentally successfully fabricated vertical and horizontal hBN/graphene heterostructures by CVD growth. We believe that the reason why such different production was possible is that the edges of hBN are H-terminated and the edges of graphene are not H-terminated. This time, we focus on the precursors in the CVD growth, and explore its origins based on the first-principles calculations from the viewpoint of what kind of atoms and molecules contribute to the growth.
