We started to study a laser ultrasonic technology and a laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy method for evaluating the properties of the materials (elemental components and composition ratio) including metals, non-mentals used in nuclear installations and fuel debris. The information on the material properties is useful for making the work plan for a debris removal.
