[17a-D505-4] Effect of ultrasonic vibaration on the orientation of C2C12 cells
Keywords:ultrasound
Muscles are composed of bundles of myotubular cells, and the contraction of myotubular cells exerts the contractility of the muscle, so the orientation of myotubular cells strongly affects the contractility of the muscle. The development of artificial muscle tissue is expected to lead to applications as transplant materials, bioactuator, and artificial meat. In this study, we investigate the effects of ultrasound on cell orientation by stimulating C2C12 myoblasts with ultrasonic vibration in culture.
