[17a-PA01-6] Absorption and Desorption Characteristics of Carbon Dioxide in Lithium-zirconium Oxide
Keywords:Carbon dioxide, Lithium-zirconium oxide, Rutherford Backscattering Spectrometry
The weight gain, surface morphology, surface elements, composition, and structure for the Li2ZrO3 samples were investigated after air exposure for various times at room temperature The Li2CO3/ZrO2 layers were formed by the reaction between Li2ZrO3 and CO2 due to Li+ ion segregation to the surface. Furthermore, the release of CO2 occurred by reacting the produced Li2CO3 with the absorbed H2O at temperatures above 423 K.
