When semiconductor quantum dots are brought close enough, new optical properties based on quantum dot interactions are expected to emerge. It is known that when the distance between quantum dot surfaces becomes less than 2 nm, coupling of electronic wavefunctions, or quantum resonance, occurs between adjacent quantum dots. In this study, we aimed to observe mini-band formation due to quantum resonance in highly excited states of CdSe quantum dot superlattices.
