Keywords:Field-effect transistors (FETs), Carbon nanotubes (CNTs), Molecular junctions

We have fabricated field-effect transistors with networks of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) as channels with core-shell protein (C-Dps) molecular junctions and without molecular junctions, and compared their transfer characteristics. The results indicated that CNT/C-Dps/CNT molecular junctions are effectively inserted into the current pathways in the CNT:C-Dps composites, largely affecting the charge transport properties.
