[17a-PA04-13] Fabrication of flexible organic transistors using Ph-BTBT-10 on PET film

Flexible transistors can be fabricated on plastic substrates using organic semiconductors because it can be easily deposited by solution process at lower temperature than 100℃. In this study, we fabricated organic transistors on polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film under process temperature of 130℃ or lower, which is a heat resist temperature of PET film. Polyimide and polyethylene naphthalate which have high heat resistance are widely used, but PET is inexpensive and has high transmittance. The flexible organic transistors were fabricated using photo cross-linking resin for the gate insulator and liquid crystalline organic semiconductor Ph-BTBT-10 for the active layer. The mobility of fabricated transistor exceeded 1 cm2/Vs even on PET substrates.
