It has been difficult to measure their electrical conductivity using conventional methods because lithium-ion-based battery materials are usually powder-based materials. We measured the optical properties of lithium-ion-based battery materials using THz time-domain spectroscopy and estimated the electrical conductivity. In this study, we report a method for estimating the electrical conductivity of AB, which is used as conductive materials in lithium-ion batteries and LCO, which is lithium-ion-based materials.
