[17p-A307-10] Towards realization of qubits using electrons on helium: Read-out of qubit states using an LC circuit

Erika Kawakami1 (1.RIKEN)

Keywords:semiconductor, helium, electron

We theoretically propose a new way to realize qubits: a hybrid qubit of the Rydberg state and the spin state of electrons floating on the surface of liquid helium. This physical system is also known for the highest mobility two-dimensional electron system thanks to the clean interface between liquid helium and vacuum. This extreme cleanness has the potential to realize high-fidelity qubits.
We also report our recent experiments on the read-out of the qubit states of electrons on helium using an LC circuit.
