[17p-A402-4] Human resources sought by semiconductor device companies and their development through industry-academia collaboration
Keywords:semiconductor, human resource, industry-academia collaboration
In recent years, semiconductors have been attracting attention from the perspective of economic security, with announcements of the establishment of JASM by TSMC/Sony/DENSO and Rapidus, which will conduct foundry business for cutting-edge logic devices. While competition for semiconductor engineers is intensifying, the number of students aiming to enter the semiconductor field is decreasing, making it imperative to take measures for the supply of human resources in the future. This talk discusses how industry-academia collaboration should foster the human resources that will support the semiconductor industry in the future, from the perspective of a device company.
