In response to the decision to invite TSMC semiconductor LSI fandry to Kumamoto, the development of semiconductor specialists in the Kyushu region has become an urgent issue. Kumamoto University established the Semiconductor Research and Education Center in April 2022 and is preparing an educational program to provide semiconductors specialist corse. In this lecture, the current status of our efforts will be introduced.
