The combination of dielectric multilayers as optical thin film and the textured structure of the glass slide produced photovoltaic modules with white and terracotta color. The optical thin films were designed by simulation software (OptiLayer). The films were deposited by vacuum deposition on the textured or plane side of a glass slide with a textured surface on one side, and the decrease in conversion efficiency of the solar cells and brightness were measured. Higher brightness was observed with lower conversion efficiency loss when the film was deposited on the flat side of the glass slide.
