[17p-A409-1] Growth-promotion of Arabidopsis thaliana in a medium containing oxygen-radical-treated l-tryptophan solutions

In this study, tryptophan solutions were oxygen-radical-treated using an atmospheric pressure radical source and fractionated using high performance liquid chromatography. The oxygen radical treated tryptophan solution and its preparative solution were included in the medium and Arabidopsis was sown. Afterwards, root length of Arabidopsis was measured and the growth-promoting effect was evaluated. The results showed that the root lengths of all Arabidopsis on the medium containing the fractionated solution were longer than those of the control.
