In this study, we generated high-order harmonics in solids under spin-orbit interaction of light. We demonstrated that harmonics with topologically nontrivial spatial profiles can be easily generated from bulk crystalline solids using driving field with a trivial profile. The results show a selection rule for polarization and orbital angular momentum, which can be understood in a comprehensive, material-independent framework of total angular momentum conservation rules derived from dynamical symmetries.
