▲ [17p-B309-16] Zeolite functionalized graphene FET E-nose for selective detection of volatile organic compounds
Keywords:E-nose, Zeolite, Graphene FET
Rapid detection of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from skin ducts as biomarkers leads to early diagnosis of disease in human beings. Surface engineering of graphene enables its as a potential candidate for the facile detection of VOC gas molecules. Herein, we report the fabrication of zeolite functionalized chemical vapor deposition (CVD) grown graphene nanoribbon FET (ZF-GNR) to detect acetone gas in a real air environment. The formation of porous zeolite with cubic morphology on the surface of graphene was confirmed using scanning electron microscopy and Raman spectroscopy. The pore-size and porosity of zeolite in the ZF-GNR will enhance the gas sensing response and selectivity of the ZF-GNR gas sensor.
