In this work, the effect of the spin coating time on the morphology, crystallinity, and electronic properties of polymer thin films is investigated. Both p-type and n-type semiconducting polymers with different concentrations were spin-coated at various times, coating speeds, and annealed in different atmospheres. To estimate the mobility of the carriers in polymer films prepared at different spin coating times, the organic field effect transistors (OFET) were fabricated. The discussion of the self-assembly of the polymer thin films was carried out, showing the positive effect of shorter spinning time on the properties of the obtained films.
