In recent, the phenomena that come from molecular chirality are strongly expected to apply to devices such as molecular magnet resistance devices, spin selectivity, and so on. The mechanism of spin selectivity still remains unknown. It is important that study the orientation, and the self-assembly of the chiral molecule on the surface. The fabrication of chirality by controlling the orientation and the conglomerate structure of the chiral molecule will be good information for evolving the chiral molecular device.
Here, we fabricated the self-assembled layer using the bulky axial molecule, BINAP and studied the structure of the monolayer. we will report the self-assembly of molecules on surfaces can demonstrate the surface chirality that can be controlled by the chirality of molecules.
