Keywords:superconducting diode, high-Tc superconductors, rectification

We fabricated a superconducting diode using a rare-earth-based high-Tc superconducting thin film and performed harmonic measurements on a small AC signal near Tc to investigate the origin of the superconducting diode. As a result, the second harmonic voltage was observed in a certain magnetic field region, indicating that the voltage is generated by the flux flow resistance and asymmetric surface barriers. A comparison with flux pinning at low temperatures will be discussed.
