[17p-PA08-2] Observation of Surface Structure on Pt deposited [EMIm]Tf2N/Si surface
Keywords:Ionic liquid, catalyst, Surface structure
In this research, we have studied the behavior of transition metal atoms on ionic liquid (IL) dropped Si and SiC surface, respectively. The surface structures on platinum (Pt) atoms deposited IL/Si (or SiC) substrate were observed by Scanning Probe Microscope (SPM), Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) and Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDS). The surface electronic structures were measured by Metastable atom Induced Electron Spectroscopy (MIES). We will report on the behavior of ionic liquid molecules and Pt atoms at different annealing temperatures, in addition to the reaction of ionic liquid molecules and Pt atoms on each surface.
