[17p-PA09-66] Examination of proton beam dose distribution measurements using OSL characteristics of BeO ceramics

We investigated the measurement of proton beam dose distribution by our original OSL distribution measuring instrument using a 10.4 cm square BeO ceramic. Dose response and deep dose distribution for proton beam were measured using HIMAC. The dose response characteristics showed good linearity. The deep dose distribution was obtained at intervals of about 70 μm. On the other hand, optimization of sensitivity inhomogeneity and background subtraction was not sufficient.
