[18a-A305-3] Plasmon resonance condition dependence of nano-antenna enhancement effect at the center of Bull's eye plasmonic chip
Keywords:plasmon, resonance wavelength, fluorescence microscope
In our laboratory, the enhanced fluorescence based on the grating-coupled surface plasmon resonance (GC-SPR) has been studied with a plasmonic chip in which a wavelength-sized periodic pattern is coated with a thin metal film. In the Bull's eye-type plasmonic chip with a periodic structure of concentric circles, a significant fluorescence enhancement called the nano-antenna effect has been observed in the center of the concentric circle pattern by microscopic observation under the transmitted light. In this study, to clarify the relationship between the nano-antenna effect and plasmon resonance conditions, plasmonic chips with different effective dielectric constants were fabricated by depositing dielectric films with different film thickness or different refractive index on a silver film.
