Keywords:ultrashort pulse laser

Developments of laser systems generating a high-intensity single- or sub-cycle pulse have grown into a worldwide trend in the research fields of ultrafast optics, since it paves the way to various pioneer applications in strong-field physics, such as the generation of isolated attosecond pulses, electron acceleration, and the wave-packet dynamics in atoms and molecules. All these applications reveal the fact that the preparation of such a light source is particularly important. In this talk, we will introduce our recent research on the development of a sub-cycle short-wave infrared optical parametric amplification system and its related works.
