[18a-B409-3] Light-Addressable Potentiometric Sensor Using Organic Semiconductor Bulk Heterojunction
Keywords:light-addressable potentiometric sensor, organic semiconductor, bulk heterojunction
Light-addressable potentiometric sensors (LAPS) can image the surface potential of electrolyte and, if combined with various sensitive membranes, the distribution of chemical species. Conventional LAPS devices have been made of silicon wafers, which are rigid, thick, and not biocompatible. Organic LAPS was first reported in 2021 with a C60 active layer. However, the issues of air stability and bipolar characteristics remain. Here we show a novel organic LAPS with organic semiconductor bulk heterojunction for flexible, biocompatible, and air-stable chemical imaging.
