[18a-B409-4] Relationship between energy transfer and ASE in WGM resonators

Using BSB-Cz and C545T as an energy donor and acceptor, BSB-Cz / C545T / BSB-Cz stacked layer structure was vapor deposited to fabricate a bowl shaped whispering gallery mode microresonators. With the variation of the thicknesses of each layer, we tuned the magnitude of energy transfer and investigated the impact of energy transfer on the photoluminescence spectra and the threshold excitation intensity for amplified spontaneous emission.
