Laser oscillator attracts increasing attention as a next-generation light-emitting device beyond organic EL. Accordingly, miniaturization and functional optimization of laser sources have been advanced. However, developing a large array of multicolor laser emitters remains a formidable challenge. Recently, we have succeeded in fabricating a droplet laser that is optically and mechanically stable in air and can be readily fabricated by inkjet process. Here, with an aim of switching the laser oscillation of the droplet by electric field, we report our progress on the modification of the substrate and integration of electrodes.
