単一マルチモードファイバ内視鏡は，空間光変調器（Spatial Light Modulator: SLM）によって位相や振幅を変調したレーザー光をファイバに入射し，その出射端に光スポットを形成する技術である．我々は，今回，新たに方形コアファイバを用いた横方向出射内視鏡の開発に取り組んでいる．この内視鏡の課題として光スポットを形成するのに数十分程度の時間を要することが挙げられるが，本講演では，その時間の短縮を試みた実験結果を報告する．
