[18p-A305-2] Liquid-phase synthesis of Pd nanocubes and their plasmon properties

Keywords:Pd nanocubes, Pd nanoparticles, p-nitrophenol reduction reaction

Pd nanoparticles are more active as catalysts for organic chemical reactions such as coupling reactions than bulk surfaces. Pd nanoparticles interact with light to induce plasmon resonance. We focused on how the plasmon enhancement effect affects catalytic reactions with Pd nanoparticles. In this study, we synthesized Pd nanocubes in the liquid phase by various methods and characterized their optical properties. Furthermore, we report on the p-nitrophenol reduction reaction using Pd nanocubes as catalysts.
