△ [18p-A305-6] Morphological control and surface modification of star-shaped Au-Ag nanoparticles with photothermal conversion for combined chemo-thermal cancer therapy
Keywords:Star-shaped Au-Ag nanoparticle, discrete dipole approximation
Star-shaped Au-Ag nanoparticles have been reported to have high photothermal conversion efficiency due to their unique structure. To further improve the photothermal conversion efficiency of star-shaped Au-Ag nanoparticles, it is necessary to evaluate and control their morphology. In this study, we evaluated the morphology of nanoparticles by both experimental methods and computational chemical methods using the discrete dipole approximation. As an application of star-shaped Au-Ag with higher photothermal conversion efficiency, we investigated the possibility of cancer therapy combined with chemical and hyperthermia using human alveolar basal epithelial adenocarcinoma cells.
