Recently, we discovered a phenomenon in which absorption lines are periodically converted into peaks during the propagation of ultrashort pulses absorbed by gas molecules through an optical fiber. In order to apply these spectral peaks to spectroscopic measurements, it is important to develop a technique to extract only the generated spectral peaks. In this study, we proposed and constructed a fiber-type nonlinear polarization interference loop mirror for generating and extracting spectral peaks, and evaluated its various properties both experimentally and numerically.
