△ [18p-A501-6] Background-free Correlation Spectroscopy using Infrared Mode-locked Laser
Keywords:spectroscopy
A method to remove background light from absorption signals can be made highly sensitive by taking advantage of the brightness of a novel infrared laser. The objective of this study was to create a method (background-free correlation spectroscopy) that enables fast and sensitive molecular detection by modulating the spectrum of the laser to the shape of the absorption spectrum of the molecule and detecting multicolor components simultaneously with a single detector. In this presentation, we will show the results of successful demonstration of the principle of selective detection using correlation.
