[18p-E302-10] Development of Amino Acid Identification by Single Molecule Detection Method for Peptide Sequencing
Keywords:single-molecule detection, Tunnel-Current, amino acid
Peptides are one of important biopolymers composed of amino acid units, and their various functional manifestations have recently attracted much interest in the development of sequence determination methods. In this study, single molecule quantum measurements using nanogap electrode devices were used to discriminate amino acids including L- and D-bodies, which are the building blocks of peptides. As a result, we developed a learning device with high discriminative power. The discrimination of single molecule signals obtained by measurement of mixed amino acid solutions using this device was 80%.
