This symposium will touch on the ever-evolving treatment of asthma, including the latest evidence and the selection of appropriate medication for mild to severe asthma.
In the first half, based on a number of evidence, we will talk about asthma treatment, especially the proper use of ICS, the management of asthma when contracting infectious diseases, as preparation for the coming season, and the usefulness of Symbicort Turbuhaler.
In the second half, we will outline the significance and value of eosinophilic severe asthma treatment, and discuss the efficacy and safety of treatment with benralizumab, which targets eosinophils, based on both the evidence from the phase III trial and the real-world evidence from our hospital.
