Symposium
[Japanese session] The research stream for principles of eukaryotic cells
Wed. Jun 29, 2022 1:45 PM - 4:15 PM Venue C (Fukuju)
Organizers: Tetsuya Higashiyama (The University of Tokyo), Takashi Ueda (National Institute for Basic Biology)
The diverse morphologies and biological functions of eukaryotic cells emerge through the functions of organelles and cytoskeletons that are highly conserved among eukaryotic lineages including plants and animals. Research to elucidate the common principles, which pervade eukaryotic cells with diverse biological features, is making rapid progress. In this symposium, we will discuss the common principles of eukaryotic cells, which are being unraveled through studies using a wide range of organisms and advanced technologies.
