[CS15-06] A study on social cost-When Selecting amethod for underground pipe installation

This paper reports the result of a study on the total cost of underground pipe installation and renovation,including cost of direct installation and the related social impact on installation.The paper then proposes acomprehnsive method of economic comparison to select an appropriate installation technology.External costs are quantified based on diversified parameters,such as increased driving time,incresed enviromental load and health hazards,ando adverse influences on commercial activities.We propose a chart to make it easier to see the effects of research.
