A pedestrian bridge in front of the customs design competition was held on December 15, last year, in Kobe City. In this competition, a design proposal for an excellent pedestrian bridge was required. Concretely, connecting the Sannomiya area, the New Port Pier West area and Minatonomori Park, having novelty and high designability structure, having highly feasible structure. Therefore, "Ring-Deck structure" could be a symbol of Kobe City was proposed based on the historical position of the pedestrian bridge in front of the customs.
