[CS8-04] Experimental Study of Cotter Slab to be adopted over intermediate supports (negative bending moment region) of continuous girders

To adopt cotter slabs over intermediate supports of continuous girder bridge, bending fatigue test was carried to confirm fatigue durability of the cotter slabs by using a specimen which simulate the cotter slabs the over intermediate supports, subjected to negative bending moment.
After the bending fatigue test, the same specimen was tested against static bending moment to check bending strength of the cotter slabs.
As the test results, it was confirmed that the cotter slabs have excellent fatigue durability and bigger bending strength than the design ultimate strength even after the bending fatigue test.
