[CS9-03] Study on monitoring technigue to estimate conbined degradation due to chloride induced damage of RC bridge girder end
Keywords:CHLORIDE CORROSION, COMBINED DEGRADATION, RC GIRDER END, FINITE ELEMENT METHOD, MONITORING
On roads with snowfall in winter, there is a problem of chloride induced damage caused by antifreeze agents flowing into the main girder along the connecting joints of the bridge, etc., as sodium chloride is sprayed to prevent freezing of the road . Furthermore, when fatigue load acts on the end of girder complexly, it may be accompanied by a sharp deformation. Girder ends are often difficult to access, and effective monitoring techniques are needed to assist visual inspection and diagnosis. Therefore, in this study, we will examine a monitoring method effective for monitoring and diagnosing complex deterioration caused by salt damage at the girder end of the concrete girder bridge.
