[I-125] Precision improvement for the bridge deflection estimation baed on acceleration measurement and its validation on full-scale brdiges
Deflection is important to estimate performance of bridge. However, when multiple vehicles pass, precision of the bridge deflection estimation is low. Thus, objectives of this research are clarifying the reason of error of estimation and improving precision of estimation.
Firstly, it is clarified that longitudinal acceleration affects error of deflection estimation through numerical analysis. Furthermore, I suggested RTS smoothing and calibration of mode shape using multiple loading cases to improve precision.
As a result, it is verified that longitudinal acceleration affects error of deflection. Also, by applying suggested method, the precision of deflection estimation improved.
